How to handle bad breath
If you (or another person) has discovered that you have bad breath, it can have many causes. Perhaps you ate or drunk something unfavorable. However, if the bad breath is not removable by dental hygiene and continues to exist the next days, your oral hygiene has to be improved.
In addition to the toothbrush, interdental cleaning is essential and a decisive factor for bad breath. The toothbrush cannot remove bacteria in the approximal spaces and therefore does not prevent the production of sulfur. The interdental spaces account for about 40% of the tooth surface and cannot be neglected. In addition to interdental brushes, oral hygiene can be improved by additional mouthwash. Another important aspect is tongue cleaning, which was previously not observed, but has an important influence on the control of bad breath.
